    There were goals galore in Round 2 of the Bundesliga 2019/20 campaign as eight of the nine matches produced three or more goals.

    Champions Bayern picked up their first win of the season while Dortmund are one of five teams to have won both their opening matches.

    Mainz are bottom of the table with three other teams failing to register a single point so far.

    Friday Night Football

    Dortmund came from behind to beat Koln in the opening fixture of Round 2 after Dominick Drexler gave the hosts the lead midway through the first half.

    Jadon Sancho, Achraf Hakimi and Paco Alcacer all scored within the final 20 minutes to maintain Dortmund’s 100% record.

    Saturday’s Round-Up

    Hoffenheim beat Bremen 3-2 in a thriller at the PreZero Arena. Three second-half goals sealed the victory of Hoffenheim while Johannes Eggestein was sent off for the visitors.

    Mainz took the lead through Robin Quaison but failed to hold on as Monchengladbach came away with a 3-1 win thanks to goals from Stefan Lainer, Alassane Plea and Breel Embolo.

    Freiburg also came from behind to beat Paderborn 3-1. Despite the hosts registering 16 shots, Freiburg secured their second successive top-flight victory.

    Augsburg and Union Berlin played out the only draw of Round 2. Sebastian Andersson grabbed a point for the newly promoted side after Ruben Vargas gave Augsburg the lead just before the hour.

    Leverkusen scored three first-half goals to take the game away from Fortuna before Alfredo Morales scored a late consolation for the hosts./p>

    In the final match on Saturday, a Robert Lewandowski hat-trick swept aside Schalke and handed Bayern Munich their first league win of the season.

    Super Sunday

    Timo Werner and Youssef Poulsen guided Leipzig to a 2-1 victory over Frankfurt. Goncalo Paciencia gave the visitors hope with a goal late on but Leipzig held on to claim all three points.

    Finally, Wolfsburg picked up an impressive away victory at Hertha. Wout Weghorst scored a penalty after just nine minutes to give his team the lead before Josip Brekalo and Jerome Roussillon capped off a fine 3-0 win.
