Perhaps Torres will finally start to score as he did under the coaching of Benitez. For the home team Daniel Sturridge is a doubt for the game, but Lampard and Terry certainly miss the match due to injuries. Mancini will not be able to rely on Jack Rodwell and Micah Richards, while Vincent Kompany and Gaël Clichy are doubtful to take part in this match. Kompany got injured in the game against Real Madrid and it is not yet clear how bad the injury is.
Manchester City have three draws as a guest in the league so far, and the results over the years in their visits to Stamford Bridge are not promising. However, the guests are constantly developing their game and will surely try to improve their record against Chelsea.
